The Need For Speed
We at MLKSHK headquarters finally arrived at a milestone where we felt comfortable handing out some invitations. If you were among the first 300 people who were visited by the Invitation Viking yesterday morning you saw three invitations in your inbox to share with friends. If you don't see any, don't worry we're going to be handing more out by the end of the month.
One reason we wanted to get more people using the site is because we knew it'd shake out some performance bugs. We did find and squash a couple, but there's another we will be working on for the next few days.
While it probably isn't apparent to you, there is a minor .2 second wait while your friend shake is constructed. While that isn't really much of a problem now, it can be in the future as more people join the site, so we want to completely do away with that .2 seconds before it becomes noticeable.
Also, if you have specific questions about anything we're doing or building, please comment in this post or just @ us on Twitter. We love hearing from all of you.
It's easy enough to Save or Favorite something. But how can you see a list of pix that you've "favorited?" I must be missing the clicky.

We're putting your favorites up today. We just couldn't find time in the past week or so but we definitely intend on having them up and it looks like I'll have time later today to do it. Thanks for reminding me.

sometimes there's a certian website that can't be named, there's a picture I like and want to use mlkshk to share--but I don't want it to be seen on the front page because the repost police would be on me. Is there a way you can make it so we can upload something so that only we know about it and can share as we wish? /also request NSFW tags (community tagged) to put in a MLKSHK after dark feed or something--or an option to hide them if u want

Is there something like an API that lets you upload images?
Because I thought about adding a feature to the browser-addons that would let you take a screenshot and shake it.
Right now the only way I see to do that would be
- take screenshot
- upload it somewhere else
- submit the url to mlkshk
But this is really a minor feature request, thanks for the great great work up to here!
